Argh. I’m a little torn about this. My first reaction was “Yay! It’s about time!” But as I started reading about the character’s physical appearance and how she’s only in one brief scene, my excitement waned. I have a feeling that Disney is going to tick off both sides with this.

Yep. They’re trying to make everyone happy and failing miserably. I’m not surprised at the decision about Love Simon, er Victor. I think they’re trying to keep most of the programming on Disney Plus G-Rated.

I’m curious about how the “Disney’s first gay main character” in the new Jungle Cruise movie is going to play out. I haven’t been hearing good things… at all…
