Just a small piece with gladiator!Yondu
Also I have a couple of headcanons about him:
– Kree replaced his own fin with the electronic one. Because of this they could control him, beating him with current every time he was trying to escape.
– Kree made him wear a lot of jewelry, so when Stakar saved him, Yondu got rid of it and had never wear any jewelry since then.
– Also I think that when Stakar saved him Yondu was about 27 or something. I mean he was in slavery about 20 years, so… he was pretty grownup.This is such good art and amazing headcanons though! *.*
(I mean, I always went on imagining that Yondu would wear something like, a collar that would electrocute him and / or could explode as a last tactic to stop him if need be, but to think that the fin, the one thing that is at least similar to the culture he lost, is actually the thing that pains him so much – damn. That’s good and painful at the same time.)
