Everything I’m hearing about the Grenfell Tower disaster is just fucking devastating. I have some clothes I was gonna give to the local charity shop this week, but does anyone think I should save them and try to send them to London instead? I know community centers are absolutely packed with donations right now, but on the other hand we’re talking hundreds of people who have literally lost every scrap of clothing they had…
(And once everyone is rehoused and the dead are given funerals, whoever’s lax standards allowed this should be prosecuted and punished.)
