OH FUCK YOU TUMBLR.

Apparently they just redid the notifications page. So now not only is it double-spaced so takes twice as long to scroll through, but the text post ‘likes’ no longer identify what text post they’re from (they used to have a snippet of the text of the post). So if you do text posts a lot, you have no easy way of seeing which of your posts have any popularity, it’s just a block of text icons.

Also XKit’s view tags isn’t working…hopefully that will be fixed, but now there’s no way to see tags on the notification page either. So they’ve just destroyed a large chunk of the social functionality of using the site for me.

Hopefully XKit will restore at least some of it, but my GOD do the Tumblr people hate any attempts at conversation here. Has fandom found a new site to use yet? Please? Please???

Do the people who code this site actually even USE this site????

I also notice that whatever they did broke xkit’s “reply” function in the notifications tab as well.
