a few weeks back i looked up the source of “we deserve a soft epilogue, my love” because it’s such a lovely, evocative line and i wanted to know the name of the poet who wrote it and it was. from captain america fanfiction.
wow this post got vastly more traction than i expected it to so a couple things:

- the punchline of this post is not “lmao captain america fanfiction is so dumb” but “wow fanfic authors are so gifted” i want to be very clear because it would kill me if people thought i was making fun of the author
