I wonder about this sometimes. Obviously it’s era-defining and has many amazing moments and kicked off a pop-culture movement that I literally cannot imagine the world not having-

-but it is missing something. I think it suffers from the same problem TFA did, in that billions of people die but that doesn’t really…have a huge effect on things. Also Luke’s only known relatives are killed horribly and it’s forgotten about within minutes. It just feels almost colder than the others in a weird way, like no-one making it had quite realised how much death should actually mean.
