Huh, yesterday was the sixth anniversary of the Cumbria shootings. (Britain’s first, and thankfully only, mass shooting since the handgun ban in 1996). I knew it was close to that time. I mean, it passes without notice most years (unless you’re in the area I guess) but I was reading something else about gun violence and it occurred to me, it must be the anniversary sometime this week. No idea how I remembered that.
