Moment of appreciation that Martha, a medical student in training likely to be a surgeon or GP, can name all of the bones of the hand in proper order without any reference.
…Which is something I know that none of my osteology professors, nor my anatomy and physiology professors can do/were able to do without a bone manual near by.
(Because, the ‘small’ bones of the wrist (5th panel) are a bitch to memorize…and in the context I’m used to them, they’re usually missing)
So, when people slag on Martha for being ‘stupid’…they obviously are not familiar with their skeletal anatomy.
