Look Out, September 20
A hearty and heartfelt congratulations to the Adventure Time cast and crew for a pair of big award nominations, each to decided upon on September 20.
First, there’s the show’s just-announced Emmy nomination for the episode “Jake the Brick.” Kent Osborne wrote, boarded, and directed the short. It’s nominated in the Outstanding Short-Format Animated Program category.
Then there’s the nod to “The Tower” as part of this year’s Ottawa International Animation Festival in the Series for Kids department. The episode was written and storyboarded by Tom Herpich & Steve Wolfhard and directed by Andres Salaff.
Best of luck to all the nominees, but even more best of luck to Adventure Time. Hats off, again, to the whole crew, cast, and gang at Cartoon Network.
