Someone oughta rec me fic about the Boromir-Merry-Pippin relationship. They totally, totally should.
(Especially anything where the Hobbits learn, even a long time after the fact, that Boromir tried to take the Ring from Frodo before he died. Wouldn’t you have loved to see that scene in the books?)
