It usually goes something like this:
You want to apply for a job. They email you a downloadable application form. You can’t fill out the application form because the program to fill it out is way out of your price range. So your choices are either a) print it out and post it, which for long forms can cost up to £10, or b) use Google Drive or something to fill it out, which makes the formatting go funny and might reduce your chances of getting the job. (if you’ve got 100+ CVs to go through, course you’re going to remove the oddly formatted ones first)
People don’t realise HOW EXPENSIVE job hunting actually is. Jobseekers isn’t enough to cover it.
