Misfits stuff
Been watching the repeats on channel four. Oh, I love this show, and all who sail in it.
The one exception is Nikki- I don’t like her, never have. I can sort of see what they were trying to do with her, making her a tough-girl-with-inner-hurt type, but it didn’t work and she comes off like a cut-price version of Kelly.
I do so very like Kelly. Girl kicks ass. And I quietly ship Kelly/Bruno- it’s like a super-twisted Beauty and the Beast story. With a bit of King Kong on the side.
I also love Nathan/Marnie, and it saddens me considerably that we probably won’t see any more of them. I loved Marnie to pieces, she was like a female Nathan except not a massive prick. I do quite like Nathan too though, he’s so unabashed in his prickiness it sort of makes him awesome. Plus I’m never entirely sure he means anyone any harm, and I love that him and Simon kinda became friends.
Simon and Alisha- the other big time-travel romance on British TV. I do love how Simon went kickass, and I like Alisha best when she’s interacting with Simon. I hope they get more interaction next year- I want to see them go to Vegas.
In conclusion: this is a bloody awesome show.
