I lodged a complaint when that happened to me and it’s more or less sorted itself out since then… Another thing you could do is download one of your existing chapters into Documents, then modify it and use it to upload the new story.
About 2 days. Like I said, the shortcut is to download an existing chapter into your Documents, copy and paste your new chapter into the new Document, and then upload it as a new chapter.

Meep. I must just be being very thick, because I don’t see how that would work- I’ve got four chapters but it’s not letting me upload the fifth- so you have to download instead of upload? Ah well. Hopefully the bloody thing will fix itself by the end of the day…

Relax honey. :D This is the way to go about it… Note: This works best with IE, I think. I know Opera browser has some problems… 1, Log in. 2, Click on ‘Stories’ (I use IE but I think the menu for Documents, Stats, Alerts etc. are always on the left.) 3, You can now see your stories list, right? Click on one of your single-chapter stories. You can use any chapter of any story but for some reason, I prefer single chapter ones… 4, You’ll now see a list of options next to ‘Story Edit’ – Properties, Contents/Chapters, and Live Preview. 5, Click on Contents/Chapter 6, You’ll see a table called ‘Existing Chapters’. The first row says ‘ # Chapter Title ‘ with ‘Edit Delete Export Backup ‘ at the extreme corner. Beneath the ‘Edit Delete Export Backup’ there are hyperlinks ‘edit del exp dl ‘. 7, Click on the hyperlink ‘exp’ 8, The page refreshes and you’ll see a message (usually in green ink): Exported Chapter exported to Document Manager as Export: Default Chapter Ch: 1 9. Click on the ‘Export: Default Chapter Ch: 1 ‘ (It should be a hyperlink. 10, It opens as an editable Document. 11, You can now delete the text in this document, paste your new chapter and save it. Don’t forget to save it! 12, Go back to ‘Stories’. Go to the story you actually want to update and upload this document ‘Export: Default Chapter Ch: 1’ as your new chapter! 13, Sit back. 14, Wait for feedback. Please let me know if you have any problems. :D

I thought it’d be working by now, but it’s not. :( Do you know how long it generally takes them to sort out a complaint?
