New new Doctor Who
Whoa!
I don’t know where to begin, so I’ll begin at the end, and say that I very nearly cried at that ending.
We got to see Cassandra in human form! Sure, everyone knows it’s Zoe Wannamaker, but still, I wasn’t expecting that.
And the Face Of Boe! Who totally didn’t say what I was expecting him to and decided to vanish and save it for another time. Well, bugger.
The Catnuns were awesome, slightly evil though they were.
I shall not mention the kiss, because everyone else is going to.
I loved the Doctor and his ‘Life!’ speech. It reminded me of the end of The Doctor Dances. God I love this show.
Don’t hope for anything more coherent from me for a day or two. ;)
And how awesome is it that now every week we get to read everyone’s reviews of the episode, just like old times? I’ve missed that so.

Haha, I DID cry at the end XD I really hope Face of Boe returns THIS series, I can’t bare to wait til next year to hear the big secret. I liked the cutnuns’ prosthetics, they were really well done. And I agree, it’s great to get all the “OMG DOCTOR WHO” posts again. I met half my flist through this fandom, and it’s great to have it back :D. AND OMG I JUST REALISED THE NEW TARDISODE IS UP!! *goes to watch*

I cried too. I adore ZW but beautiful she ain’t, and Cassandra’s totally compassionate behaviour to what she believes to be a total stranger was so unexpected and moving.

Ah, I second that whole heartedly :D The Face Of Boe had better return! I’m gonna be wondering about the secret for the entire series now – no doubt that’s what was intended!

Oh, seeing Cassandra as human was such a surprise, but even better was the way they finished her story. Oh so gorgeous, yes. And Mickey’s “I love you” was Just Lovely. Such a fabulous little moment, yes. *nods*
