Doctor Who- Clive’s surname
Now here’s an interesting question…
Whenever Clive or his family show up in any of my fanfics, I use the surname ‘Finch’ for them. I’d seen it in a few fanfics (I remember one by taraljc that used it) and figured it was canon, but it doesn’t seem to be mentioned anywhere else. Not in my offical script book, or any episode summaries…
So…where’d it come from? *intrigued*

In the Lord of the Rings fandom for quite a long time I really believed that the elf sitting next to Aragorn in the Council of Elrond was actually canonically called Figwit, but it turns out it’s actually fanon and means Frodo Is Great… Who Is That? because most people notice him after Frodo decides to take the ring :-D So… there.

I think I got it from the original scripted name which was then cut. The BBCi used it on CLive’s site mebbe?

I don’t think it’s on the website, but I dunno…you’d think they would have given him a surname, so perhaps it did just get cut. :)
