@dyingsighs i’ve known you this long and i never realized you saw the prequels first!!
YEAH. I basically thought Obi-Wan was the main protagonist and that all 3 movies was gonna be about him and Qui-Gon and tiny Anakin swinging lightsabers saving planets in distress. But that’s before I got to the end of TPM (Qui-Gon dying was brutal I just didn’t see that coming). AoTC had me being annoyed at Anakin a lot (the fact that Obi-Wan had a mullet didn’t improve the situation) but I was excited to see a lot of Jedi coming to rescue him (before a bunch of them DIED on Geonosis that is). Shim dying was sad but Anakin’s reaction to her death was REALLY DARK and I was beginning to understand that Star Wars & happy endings? Not a thing. Lastly was RoTS. Man was I happy to see Anakin & Obi-Wan on that Palpatine rescue mission (my JAM) but that didn’t last because well, the rest of RoTS happened and we ended up on a lava bank, Obi-Wan is crying, Anakin is on fire and Padmé looks pretty dead idk. So yeah I was confused and sad and wondered why t heck did Ewan McGregor acted in this TRAGIC af saga. And oh I knew nothing about Vader and wasn’t impressed at all lmao.
