the last man on earth

a couple of thoughts

  • We still don’t have a last name for Erica! Which means we don’t have a last name for Dawn either! Maybe I’ll pluck up some courage and ask Cleo or the writers on Twitter
  • I wonder if Tandy left a note for Mike this time, and I sort of suspect he didn’t (since Mike finding the house would be a death sentence anyway. :( )
  • It was actually rather touching that the gang took Lewis’s ashes with them, albeit in a vacuum cleaner
  • I can’t believe they forgot the cow >:(

No matter what happens to the show, I’d just like to say that I am so proud to be a fan of “The Last Man on Earth.” I am so proud of Will, so proud of the cast, the crew, the writers, and Fox for putting this show on the air. This show is truly something special and unique, something that television has never seen before and probably won’t see in the same way again. Almost 50 episodes have been made, and to see the development and the progression of this show has been such a gift. If the show doesn’t get renewed, I will miss it, I will miss the characters, I’ll miss seeing Will on my tv every weekend. But I am so proud of what has been accomplished by this show and will keep it with me. Thank you Phil Lord, Chris Miller, and of course, flawless Will Forte.

Same,

AND THEY DIDN’T KILL HER

Hello fellow comedy lovers! Are you free tonight at 9PM? Then I highly recommend that you watch the season finale of The Last Man on Earth. It is one of the most clever, inventive, heartfelt, and hilarious shows on television right now. That being said, it is on a serious bubble (according to Will Forte himself) and is at a high risk of being cancelled by FOX. We won’t know for sure until the television upfronts over the next couple of weeks but if the finale’s two episodes get good ratings this evening (don’t forget to set your DVR too!), that will increase its chances for a Season 5 renewal. If my sincerity in vouching for this show isn’t enough for you, at least one of tonight’s episodes will feature the return of Kristen Wiig as Pamela Brinton, who was confirmed in January as a recurring character. So to conclude, if you’re looking for laughs and always incredible last minute plot twists, watch The Last Man on Earth tonight!

Please please watch it, you guys. It’s so lovely. It has a fairly diverse cast and a found-family theme and two women in a relationship and it killed the entire Trump administration for a laugh and it’s just so good

(and of course I can’t watch it live because I’m in Britain :( )

See this promo shot from the finale? Standing behind Gail there, that’s not Melissa (not blonde) and not Carol (the hair’s too long). I suppose it could be Pamela but her hair was lighter than that too.

Nope, it’s gotta be Erica! She survives, y’all!

(All right, this reveals 0 about the status of the baby, but! It’s gotta be Erica! Alive!)

WAIT A MINUTE A BABY COULD CONCEIVABLY BE IN THAT BLANKET SHE’S HOLDING
