Canyonlands National Park sits under the desert sun nearly every day, but in the early morning hours when the air is cool and the sun is rising, a majestic glow of indigo filled this Utah valley with mist. The iconic Airport Tower can be seen in the distance, standing just behind the Washer Woman Arch. Photo courtesy of Sam Koerbel.

The half-built Wonderland park near Beijing was abandoned after its developers entered a dispute with the local farmers to whom they were paying rent. To this day, money is still being handed over for the use of the land, and the farmers have decided to reappropriate it to grow crops. When I went there, a local told me that the whole parkland will soon be demolished to make way for another new venture. More photos soon on my website www.reubenwu.com
