you wanna see some badass shit from the early 20th century?? The Lumière brothers created the first full color photograph… in fucking 1903! So these dudes dyed potatoes (in red, blue, and green), mashed them down into just pure fuckin’ starch, and used these dyed potato starches as filters to block out/let in certain wavelengths of light. They coated one side of a glass plate with the starches and sensitized the other side with a mixture of gelatin and light sensitive materials (silver nitrate) and loaded these plates in their cameras.. Sometimes I start a movie or a series and ten minutes or an episode in, I decide I don’t like it. I don’t want to see it in my ‘continue watching’ category, and I certainly don’t want to see ‘because you watched this thing’ either. I made a mistake. Please stop reminding me.
This absolutely should be a thing.
You can actually edit your Netflix watch history in cases where you watch something bad (or on the wrong account or something). Go to the bottom of the account page and find the link for Viewing Activity (or click the link in this post if you’re logged in on this computer) and find the thing you watched and now regret, and click the X on the righthand side and bam! it’ll be as if you never watched it, as far as Netflix is concerned!
