yeah, i sorta had that in mind, that each of the four would enter into the house liking the values it showed, and i also wanted to showcase a positive interhouse friendship. I see Harry would choose Slytherin bc that’s what Norman was (so he’d be the Lucius Malfoy of this), MJ could be in Slyth well enough but i placed her in Hufflepuff for her friendliness and loyalty (and Hufflepuff needs more positivity), and Peter in Gryff to edge out the team at the end, and he fits well any house i think -ladyliliana

so i’ve been writing like this semi crossover Hogwarts AU (laugh, it is silly, but i do enjoy writing it), and i have the spider-gang in it, and while in this verse i sorta put down the Griff-Slyth rivalry that the canon Potter books have, i feel aside from Gwen (whom i see in my version as a Ravenclaw strictly- i sorta amped up her “Hermioneness”), i feel the other three play good musical chairs with their sorting? though i feel maybe i’ve been too predictable with some sorting -ladyliliana

My favourite favooooourite thing ever written about Hogwarts sorting is that it’s not necessarily the traits you have that Sort you, it’s the traits you value! So bearing that in mind I think Harry would be a concrete Slytherin, having been brought up be Norman to value ambition, and MJ… I think you could make a good argument for her ending up in Slytherin as well, having seen ambition as an escape from her terrible childhood. And Gwen, I always felt she was more or less a Ravenclaw in most interpretations of her to be honest!
