I’m not going to lie, knowing Jack Kirby was Jewish has always meant a lot to me, but seeing his gravestone- with its Hebrew letters, its magen david, its stones- moved me more than I can say.

Monday, August 27 marks 100 years since the birth of Marvel universe co-creator Jack Kirby.
Coincidentally, August 2017 also marks 25 years since Nintendo released Kirby’s Dream Land in the US.
Naturally, I couldn’t help but imagine what would happen if the two met…
