Overly Devoted Archivist Uncategorized #honestly HOND is the most…for lack of a better word…hardcore disney film there has ever been #Even Zootopia doesn't come near it, #I'm amazed it got made at all #it is UNFLINCHING in its portrayals of racism and ableism and hypocrisy, #its heroes are the oppressed and marginalised #its villain is everything terrible about religious authority rolled up into one #its heroine is an openly sexual woman of colour, #who unlike in the book SURVIVES #it is an amazing movie #and it would never be made today, disney, the hunchback of notre dame 0 Comments
