I keep wanting to write a Doctor Who/Star Wars crossover. This wouldn’t be so bad if I hadn’t done one already. ;)
If anyone else wants to try a DW crossover…I suggest Captain Jack/Captain Jack. C’mon! It’s begging to be written!

You know what’s weird? I don’t think all the comments came through for that last icon post. I got well over 50 comment notifications but only 48 have displayed…which is annoying, because some of them had questions in them and I can’t answer them now.

Doctor Who: The Doctor Dances
This has definately been my favourite two-parter so far. :D
-The twist with Nancy? I went onto the spoiler forums beforehand and read about it, but I thought it would probably turn out not true. But it did! And it worked really well.
-Rose…eh…she didn’t do very much in this episode. Still, Mickey’s back next week, so hopefully there’ll be something there…
-I loved the bit with the typewriter. Loved loved loved. Terrifically creepy. :D
And believe it or not, that’s about all I wanted to say. ;)

My Return of the Jedi novelisation (which is one of my prized pocessions) used to belong to someone called Paul O’ Dwyer. His name is in the front.
Wonder if he’s around the fandom at all? Probably not, but hey.

Doctor Who: The Empty Child
Oh wow, I loved this one.
Been a pretty good week for my fandoms, hasn’t it? ;)
I loved Nancy. She’s terrific, and would have made a good companion. :)
I loved the gas-mask-taking-over-the-face bit…it was horrific but just the right side of unbelievable, y’know?
I loved, loved, loved the Doctor and the homeless kids. Especially him just taking the chicken and everyone gasping.
I loved the Doctor’s conversation with the Empty Child paralleling Rose’s conversation with the Dalek (that may me me seeing things that aren’t there, though.)
I loved ‘Who did you lose?’ and ‘I know the feeling.’ Actually, that last one ripped my heart out, in a good way. ;)
Rating so far: End of the World, Dalek, The Empty Child, Father’s Day, Aliens of London, The Uniquiet Dead, WWIII, Rose, The Long Game.
And I switched channels and saw the end of The Phantom Menace afterwards, too. :)
