George Lucas at the 40 Years of Star Wars panel [x]
I was not expecting this low-quality old gifset to take off so much in the past two days. (Some of the comments are really something.) That so happened to coincide with my grandmother’s funeral, and it’s funny but there was lots of talk in the eulogy about the things she loved as a child – not Star Wars, obviously – and how they shaped her later life and got passed down to her kids/grandkids. So I suppose I might be looking at this differently now, or at least not reading the reblogs.
