Naya Rivera
I was following the story of Naya Rivera since she was first reported missing on the lake. For the first few hours I really did hope she’d be found alive. But it soon became painfully obvious she wouldn’t be, sigh.

It’s so sad and awful, though at least her son is safe. Looking through tweets about her it’s obvious she meant a lot to a lot of people. I remember when her Glee character was revealed to be gay and I’ve seen so many saying that she inspired them to come out too.
Her body was found on the anniversary of Cory Monteith’s death, and that’s such a saddening coincidence. Even before then though I saw endless posts in the vein of “The Glee cast are cursed!” and even more in the vein of “This is a conspiracy, someone murdered her/the police aren’t looking for her” and I do get it… but sometimes horrible things really do just happen for no reason. A perfectly healthy young mother of one can be in the water one minute and gone the next. Two people who were friends and worked together can both die young in seperate incidents. It really, really sucks and it’s hard to accept, but I suppose there’s never any option but to accept it.
