WHAT is going ON with Star Wars
Okay so Rise of Skywalker isn’t even out worldwide yet and already I’m hearing: It’s really bad, critics hate it, it ruins everything, people walked out of screenings etc etc. I’m not seeing it til (hopefully) tomorrow and my brain is CRACKING with the ANTICIPATION. Honestly, if critics hate it, I will almost certainly love it. You’ve seen this blog, right?
But the idea that some story points might prove controversial, that has me worried. There’s only one dealbreaker for me, and that’s anything in the realm of “Luke is on the dark side.” That’s it! And that probably won’t happen seeing as Luke is (technically) dead. But, gah! WHAT is it that’s pissed people off? Evil Rey? Not-Evil Kylo? Dead Finn/Poe/Rose/anyone? This is killing me, I can’t wait until tomorrow.
