Okay Tumblr, new goal: let’s not use this secret-Russian-blog fiasco to throw all pro-Black Lives Matter discussion under the bus.
Black Lives did not suddenly Stop Mattering just because a government was fraudulently appropriating its message for malicious gain.
Russia wanted to infiltrate and distort Black Lives Matter because it is one of the great civil rights struggles of our time. Because it’s important. Because it really does matter. It’s important not to let them discredit it.
