every once in a while i believe it’s important to acknowledge that whilst movie!ginny was a true shitshow and i survive solely off of complaining about it, my saltiness truly does not extend to bonnie wright, who is a Queen and deserves all the hype

• understands her character a lot better than the films really let on: “this idea that she was this warrior […] was always something that i really enjoyed”
• studied film and television at london’s university of the arts and works as a director
• her debut was seperate we come, seperate we go (starring david thewlis):

• owns her own production company called bonbonlumière
• apart from directing, she’s also a kickass activist:
• works as an ambassador for filmaid, a charity that aims to help refugees by using “film and other media to bring life-saving information, psychological relief, and much-needed hope to refugees and other communities in need”
• and designed these shirts for them:

• teamed up with greenpeace to raise awareness about and fight plastic pollution; wrote an article about that here and anotherone on what to do against plastic pollution here; is constantly using her social media to raise awareness, sharing petitions, etc about these issues as well (twitter; insta)
