The movie Room is on tonight and gaaaaaah I’ve seen it before and I love it but I always mentally tear my hair at how incredibly wrong Joy’s plain could’ve gone. There’s one split-second where you see Old Nick considering whether to just bury what he thinks is the dead kid in the backyard and OH GOD what if he had. Every time I think about all the ways both main characters could’ve died horribly I just want to throw up. It is an agonising rollercoaster of a film and my nerves are always a wreck afterwards
