When I was in Leicester city center today I overheard some guy who I’m pretty sure was basically just gaslighting his girlfriend. He was talking about how she wasn’t as smart as other people and was easily replaceable and so on. She didn’t seem to mind? I really hope it was a private joke or something but I also really wish I’d spoken up to at least some extent.
