I liked TLJ for the most part, but I really wish the BBC et al weren’t reporting the backlash against it as “white guys who don’t like that the film has a more diversified cast”. I’ve seen far, far more people say that that they hated the film because Finn, Poe and Rose were sidelined/used for comedy, and that’s just… not getting a mention in the media at all.
