Me and @michaeldrawrrett were talking about Scrubs earlier and we both, ur, reminisced about the scene in series five where Turk feeds Carla birth control pills without her knowledge. Which, like, surely would qualify as reproductive abuse of some sort?! And then we recollected that the whole incident is treated like a problematic-but-understandable part of married life and glossed over, when, um…no.
Anyway we came to the same conclusion that Scrubs on the whole was a misogynist mess, which sucks, because there were some real gems of episodes in there.
