I’m sure this has been pointed out before but I just noticed recently that Padme’s hair piece in the iconic “So this is how liberty dies” scene is a similar shape as the symbol of the rebellion.
That kind of visual is not an accident, and it’s not an accident that she happens to be wearing this when Palpatine announces the formation of the Empire and she speaks out against it. Bail being next to her is perfect as well because they’re two of the only people in the room who knew this would be a dictatorship.
Padme was a rebel, one of the first. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
