I am now back from my honeymoon! And… in the second of an ongoing series of my body letting me down at the worst possible times, I got sick for a few days. Luckily it was only a few days, but it meant we couldn’t go to Paris. Or some of the parks. Or anywhere really. Sigh.
But while I was in the hotel room miserably lying down I did get to watch a lot of Disney Channel! Which I have never seen before! Here is a non-comprehensive list of what I watched through a gloomy haze:
- a couple of episodes of Tangled the Series, which is really good
- a couple of episodes of Hotel Transylvania, which is not
- a movie where Princess Demi Lovato has to live with Tomboy Selena Gomez and they learn the true meaning of friendship or something
- a show called Andie Mack about a girl who discovers her sister is really her mother and it‘s… really good?!
- odd bits of That’s So Raven, the only Disney Channel show I’d already seen
- something where a girl called Jessie is nanny to a bunch of oddball kids
- something where two teens called Ally and Austin (or something) are in a band possibly, they seemed cute together, gosh I hope they weren’t brother and sister
- Zendaya’s KC Undercover show, I saw like one episode of it but it was good
- ENDLESS trailers for that Descendants show? one of the characters is seen grinning manically while he hugs a dog, this piqued my interest enough to Google the thing, he is the son of Cruella de Ville apparently, also googling it raised so many more questions I’m too tired to ask
- so many terrible terrible adverts for gross toys centered around bodily functions. were toy adverts always like this?! am I getting old
