concept: arya picks up on how horribly sad sansa seems and doesn’t know what to do because things are still Weird between them, so she’s like. right, sansa used to like lemon cakes, maybe i can get her some of those.
except she shows up in sansa’s solar with what appears to be an oozing, blackened explosion on a platter. and she opens her mouth to explain and it turns into a ramble about how there weren’t any lemons because the supply line to the south’s been cut off so she had to use gooseberries the hunters picked up and she tried to make the cook bake the cake but the cook told her no because they didn’t have the supplies to waste on frivolities like cakes so she had to steal the supplies and sneak around to do it herself because how hard could it be, right, she saw hot pie do it plenty, except she didn’t know how much of anything to put in because she never paid that close attention to what hot pie did so she kind of made it up but then it started cooking weird–
–and sansa just starts laughing and so does arya and they decide to go feed it to the birds in the godswood.
