Okay, so while everyone (myself included) has been getting on Bran’s ass about showing no emotion, I do appreciate that while he’s obviously feeling emotionally numb right now (and honestly, for good reason, the kid’s been through a lot) he was still trying to comfort Sansa by telling her he was sorry that she was put through pain there, in their home, their safe space.
And, the fact that he wanted to let her know that she was beautiful in her wedding dress. I’m still working that out – it’s a little irritating, because of the pain she felt, but I also try to imagine the context behind that. Sansa must have spoken about her wedding all the time, and Bran probably imagined he’d be there, and – in a way he was, but it was something neither ever wanted, in a situation no one wanted – but still, it was her wedding dress, and Sansa was beautiful, and Bran feels the need to let her know and somewhere in there is the emotion and the need for him to bond with his sister.
Granted it freaks poor Sansa the fuck out, but still. Bran’s…kinda sorta trying?
