Seeing those shots from the GOTG2 blu-ray extras makes me think of those posts that go around sometimes where people random pictures from behind the scenes of the Star Wars prequels and are like “can you believe this!!! these TERRIBLE FILMS! which make actors react TO NOTHING!”
Buddy… if you like blockbuster movies, all your favorite scenes are filmed like that. Some of the best moments from the films you like are filmed against a greenscreen, or against a greenscreen with one actor wearing an enormous prop on his head so the other one knows where to look, or against a greenscreen suspended on wires with none of the actors able to hear each other over the noise of fans. That’s just how movies work. Also, man, you are gonna piss yourselves when you hear about theatre.
