I love the whole idea with this cover! What wonderful use of Hugo’s rampant animal symbolism! (and Bear!Valjean curled around Marius and Cosette there, in what could be a gesture of sleep and not noticing them right in front of him, or protectiveness, especially with the other animals, including Tiger-Javert , looming behind them–it’s so so so good!)I want this cover as an option too!
