Out of curiosity, how does the BBC fair in terms of media quality? It has a reputation for being trustworthy in the US, so I’m wondering if that applies overseas as well -windona
It’s hard to say in a way. There’s an old adage I’ve heard family members say: “Right-wingers think the BBC is left-wing and left-wingers think the BBC is right-wing.” But, I am pleased to say, I haven’t seen any racism/homophobia etc from their news sites, at least not that I know of.
It’s always been kinda hard to quantify the BBC because it’s such a huge company, made up of so many people, running so many things… in a way I think the media source it’s most comparable to is Wikipedia. It tries very hard to be truly impartial.
