When I was 17, I slipped down a staircase at school and injured my spine & brachial plexus. My condition has been worsening without cease ever since. It will also almost certainly leave me reliant on donations for the rest of my life unless compensation is granted.
Since the accident, I’ve been living in extreme poverty and have been repeatedly threatened with or forced into psychiatric confinement by doctors taking advantage of my situation. With limited safe & affordable healthcare, my condition has worsened rapidly. In the past year, breathing problems have developed, but it was impossible to safely seek treatment after I was nearly institutionalised for reporting this to a GP. I still can’t afford the around the clock disability care I need and the stress from suffering a condition that can only get worse is frankly destroying me.
I desperately need help to access healthcare that a compensation payout could fund, because any slim chances of halting physical deterioration would change my life.
