I’m disabled and bedridden with permanent nerve damage, and had been on the verge of homelessness for 2 years. Now I finally have a permanent home but need help to pay
for second hand appliances and furniture, removalists, and for home carers to help unpack.
Move-in must be finalised quickly to spare time for urgent medical and legal issues
Firstly, I need to act quickly to begin consultations with a new local GP, so that the offer of home visits is not relinquished to leave me without medical services. Also, substantial time is needed to prepare for my personal injury compensation case – the last opportunity left to fund healthcare for the rest of my life.
A total of $3,885 will be needed over the next 2 days. Settling into a permanent home will allow me to concentrate on stabilising my life, a privilege that has not been afforded to me for many years.
