When you head to theaters to see “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” next month, you’ll want to keep an eye out for a certain prop. Director Gareth Edwards was aware that George Lucas always like a certain kind of helmet on the set. Edwards and his designers tried, but couldn’t really find a place where it fit in their plans for the movie. But when George Lucas was given a tour of the set, one of the first things he spotted was said helmet, saying “That’s cool, I like that!”. When you get that endorsement from the maker, you find a way. Now we’ll all be sitting in theater guessing at helmets. “Rogue One” opens December 16th.
