I tell ya I freaking love how the prequel trio’s interactions with the Arena Beasts in Attack of the Clones symbolise what’s to come for each of them-
Anakin gets an angry, vicious monster which he eventually tames:
Obi-Wan runs away from his:
And Padme’s beast is killed by Anakin’s:
ANAKIN DIDN’T KILL PADME FOR THE LOVE OF GOD
I like the Palpatine theory too (a lot), but until it’s canon, Anakin deserves most if not all of the blame. He chose to choke her.
