hi. i’m permanently disabled with nerve damage throughout my body and I cannot access typical housing, e.g. there are no homelessness services in my state that cater to me and i would be mistreated in a shared environment. there is very scarce accessible housing and right now I have to pay just over $1000/week for a temporary room I am staying in. i have been trying to raise this amount for five days, and the payment is 5 days overdue. i have received an average of approx $15 in donations each day. I have raised the amount for last week now, thank you everyone!! I will now need to make payment for this week. This is, again, just over $1,000... and like I said… it’s temporary and I simply can’t find another accessible place despite spending all day every day searching and despite that I desperately want to leave.
The payment for my room is 2 days overdue. I MUST pay the $1,000 by Thurs 10th Nov. Home care and other assistance (incl. inspections of alternative housing on my behalf) will cost at least an extra $859 (corrected) this week.
As always, I also need legal fees to sue for compensation for the accident that caused this disability. Existing funds when I was harassed offline, so I will need to raise $15,200 USD (corrected) within 6 months for the compensation case.
Disability payments can be denied or cut at any point and Australia is already following a UK policy that has killed thousands, yet at the moment I am set to remain utterly dependent on charity and unreliable government benefits.This compensation claim would offer assurance of financial support and essential healthcare. It’s literally the best thing that could happen to me right now.
