I’m attending an early showing of Warcraft with my husband tonight, and I wanted to do something fantasy-inspired. I took a cue from this memorable mani by @blingfinger. I loved the idea of layering a jelly polish over foil, not only because of how beautiful it looked but because foil manicures don’t typically last long without a good seal, which, well, if you’ve ever worked with foils you know this is somewhat difficult to do.
I started with a black base and applied silver and magenta foils in random patterns, then painted it over with a thin coat of Midnight Blue, from Maybelline’s Color Show line. To achieve a glassy effect (and an extra strong seal), I used Gelous advanced nail gel coat, followed by Seche Vite.
