Many people call phone sex lines. They’re not freaks or losers. Some are just lonely and seeking human contact. Often, trans women call because there’s nowhere else for them to be themselves. Phone sex clients are human beings and the chances are pretty good you know one, even if you don’t know that you know.
So with that in mind, there’s something most clients don’t know which I think they would like to know. The workers can’t mention it, but callers are allowed to tip. Just say “How can I tip you?” and the worker will help you do it. Phone sex is expensive, and even a $10 or $20 tip will be a tiny fraction of what the client is paying–but it will be more than the worker made for the entire call, possibly for hours of work. Please find ways to let people know that they can tip their phone sex workers, if they would like to, and that doing so is really helpful and always appreciated deeply by the worker.
