I think the main problem re: all the callout culture discussion I’ve been seeing on my dash is that no-one can actually agree on what callout culture is. One group think that an end to ‘calling out’ means ‘letting pedophiles and Nazis roam around the site unchecked’; and the other group think that ‘calling out’ has always meant ‘going through the blogs of minors to find things to discredit them/justify sending them abuse’. So, er….
…it’s complicated.
