i see this a lot and honestly it ties to like. mocking autism mannerisms and behaviors and that last post reminded me but like:
if you see someone very passionate abt like. a video game, a toy, etc etc. stop going “it’s just a video game omg you freak”
because like intense attachments to objects and stuff like games and toys and stuff. those often are like… symptoms of disability and mental illness stuff like autism, ocd, etc.
like i mean yeah there’s a point where someone’s being an ass and is smug about a game or an object or something i can get that that;s can be like an ass move and im not trying to defend like…. rude smugness and superiority.
but if someone’s like… just being “eccentric”, “weird”, “strange”, etc about a video game or a toy or object or something and is incredibly attached to it, how about… not mocking them and in fact how about leaving them alone.
