Please help me with paying bond + rent in advance, for relocation and desperately needed access to specialist medical care
Hi everyone, as you probably know, I have a very serious neurological condition that prevents me from being able to sit or stand up. This means I need to pay for an expensive paramedic service whenever I go outside.
My financial situation has prevented me from being able to see my neurologist for the past 7 months. I feel that this will have a very serious impact on my health if it continues.
I would like to relocate to a place closer to my neurologist’s suburb, which will prevent physical aggravation from longer distance travel and limit the paramedic transport cost. My government housing application hasn’t been granted yet and the waiting time can be long.
I have an appointment with my neurologist on 21st July and I need to be present on the day. I’m going to try to apply for a private rental apartment in the area. If successful, the upfront payment will be:
1. One week of rent – $420, needed immediately
2. Bond + rent in advance – 5x$420, or $2100, needed as soon as possible for greater chance of success on the application; the deadline is in about a week.
3. $15 deposit
In total, $2535 is needed.If I’m able to get government assistance soon, then the funds raised will instead go towards rent/bond for the subsidised apartment + other essential payments, e.g. healthcare costs.
If I can relocate, it will ensure that I get the optimal healthcare that I so desperately need as someone with a serious medical condition that is getting more severe by the day. I would really appreciate any donations to assist with this:
