My current accommodation is set to expire in two weeks’ time on 01/06/16 and an extension may not be granted. I have a neurological condition which leaves me bedbound
(medical reports) and being homeless would put me in grave danger. So I desperately need my government housing application to be successful. There’s a $500/week instalment for home care I need to pay to meet the assessment criteria (see details + invoices). I also need to pay $200/week to my paramedic so that so that I can access transport when it comes time to move.
Apart from these, I would like to meet $200 + $50 + $50 in weekly instalments to three other home care agencies for invoices incurred in 2015, to avoid formal debt collection procedures.
I only receive
$285/week in social security payments so I would appreciate some help with these expenses. I’ve visited Angie a number of times over the past year and a half, and if anyone was in any doubt of her sincerity regarding this situation then I can assure you things really are as difficult as she has indicated in her posts.
In Australia we’d like to think our healthcare system is comprehensive and accessible to anyone, but this is far from the truth and honestly Angie has been faced with ridiculous barriers to accessing the quality care she requires.
The money you guys have donated so far has helped immensely, but her situation is still dangerously unstable.
If you can spare anything please donate! Angie is incredibly deserving of your generosity and I want nothing more than to see her finally reach a place where she can feel safe and secure.
